A kitten was discovered by himself outside a house, but overnight, everything changed for him. He is now surrounded by loving cats.
A neighbor saw a small kitten huddled under a balcony when the snow started to fall in December. The kitten was by itself and had no mother in sight.
The kitten had curled into a tight ball in an attempt to stay warm as the temperature had fallen well below freezing. The neighbor hurried over to assist him after realizing he wouldn’t last long in the severe weather. The kitten allowed his rescuer to carefully pick him up and carry him inside without becoming alarmed.
He was weak and underweight, barely two months old, but he appeared relieved to be in a warm, safe place at last.
The volunteer-run rescue organization Chatons Orphelins Montreal offered to adopt the kitten as soon as they heard about his predicament. “He was named Wizoo, and he had a very round belly full of worms,” the rescue reported. “He went to his foster home to rest and recover after receiving his initial medical treatment.”
Wizoo fell in love with being held very quickly. He insisted on being tucked under his human’s shirt whenever he traveled.
Wizoo spent a lot of time in his “cat mobile,” which enabled his foster mother to take him everywhere while still providing his daily care, during his recuperation. He accomplished milestone after milestone, becoming an expert at using the litter box and learning to eat from a dish.
Wizoo gained weight and energy as his stomach problems subsided. Additionally, he developed a keen interest in the other cats in the home.
Wizoo yearned for the company of other cats after spending so much time alone. He soon made friends with an old resident cat who liked to relax by the window, and the two of them frequently enjoyed the warm sunlight together.
He found solace in the calmer cats. “He needed a little family of cats to help him feel safe again.”
Wizoo’s confidence grew as his feline friends encouraged him. Before long, he was speeding around the house and engaging in a variety of typical kitten antics. He was still quite small, but he already had a spirit of adventure.

He found out he could fit inside a boot one day. He wriggled his way inside, turned around, stuck his head out, and declared with pride that the shoe was his stronghold.
Wizoo’s charming personality started to emerge as he grew larger and more powerful. He was fascinated by everything and curious about the activities of his humans. “He wants to be loved by people and other cats, and he craves attention and cuddles.“
He enjoys gazing out the window at birds. He is typically found curled up in a sunny spot with a feline companion by his side when he isn’t playing.
In an attempt to make up for lost time, Wizoo seeks out cuddles from the local cats and leans into them for comfort.
He is now four months old, a bundle of energy and an absolute love bug. He greets his foster family in the morning with loud purrs and squeaky meows. He climbs into bed with them at night and cuddles up.
One of his favorite things to do now is watch TV. He leaps onto a nearby chair whenever the TV comes on, eager to enjoy the evening’s entertainment.
He stood in front of the large screen with his humans during the Winter Games, paying close attention to what was happening. He was enthralled with the athletes’ movements and followed them as they moved across the screen.
Wizoo had a difficult start, but everything changed practically overnight because of the generosity of strangers. He really is among the fortunate ones.
He is now enjoying the comfortable indoor life that all kittens should have. His days are full of joy, companionship, and unending love because he is surrounded by kind people and feline friends.
