They Decide to Foster a Shelter Kitten, But This Young Cat Has Plans of Her Own After Finding Her Forever Person

Foster a Shelter Kitten,

A bulldog who was hurt badly while protecting her newborn puppies is now safe, healed, and starting a new chapter in her life with love all around her.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), an animal welfare charity, recently posted on Facebook about Roxy. They said that after months of care and recovery, the devoted mom dog has found a new home.

The group asked, “Do you remember Roxy?” “The brave mom who protected her puppies during a terrible hammer attack in December.”

According to an earlier RSPCA press release, the event happened in the Doncaster area at the end of November. The police found the hurt bulldog with a bad head injury after her owner said she hit her with a hammer while she was trying to protect her litter.

The police took Roxy and her puppies away from the house and called the RSPCA’s Doncaster and Rotherham Animal Center. From there, the staff arranged for emergency veterinary care and moved the dogs to a safe, warm place where they could start to get better.

Roxy got expert medical care and emotional support from the rescue team over the next few weeks. As the puppies got stronger in the shelter’s care, they were also watched closely.

The charity now says that the outcome could not be better.

The organization said in its update, “Roxy has officially landed on her paws after getting expert care and a lot of love at the RSPCA Doncaster and Rotherham Animal Centre.” “She is now loved without conditions in an amazing home, and all seven of her puppies have started their own new lives.”

The RSPCA said they chose to share the news around Mother’s Day to honor the bulldog’s strength and loyalty. The post went on to say, “We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than by sharing this update.”

The story quickly made people feel something, and many of them had been following Roxy’s story since the attack first made the news.

“Bless her!” “Wow, what a strong Mumma!” said one person who commented on the post. Someone else said, “I hope Roxy and her puppies have a long, happy life full of love.”

The RSPCA said that the case is a reminder of how cruel animals can be and how important it is for people to act quickly and help each other. Roxy is now happy in her new home, and her puppies are starting their own journeys with their new families.
