Five Pets at RSPCA Hampshire Currently Looking for Loving New Homes

A number of pets in Hampshire, including those at the RSPCA Solent branch in The Stubbington Ark, are searching for their forever homes.

There are many options for adopting a dog, cat, rabbit, or guinea pig available.

Below is a list of a few animals from The Stubbington Ark; the center’s website has more.

Clyde

Two years old

Gender: Male

Breed: Short-haired domestic

You can look at Clyde’s profile here if you wish to adopt him.

The RSPCA characterizes Clyde as “friendly and gentle natured.”

“Clyde is a sweet boy who settled into the cattery quickly. He is confident in making new friends and is enjoying having staff and volunteers company,” stated his RSPCA carers. Although Clyde is growing more courageous and rarely hides for very long, he can still be a little wary of new noises.

Clyde can’t live in the Winchester PO17 area, but he is searching for a house with outdoor access to a garden.

If he is introduced gradually, he can coexist with dogs and elementary school-aged children, but not with other cats.

Roo.

Two years old

Gender: Male

Breed: Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier

You can look at Roo’s profile here if you want to adopt him.

“Roo by name and Roo by nature, this boy is a bouncy ball of fun,” stated RSPCA Solent. “This whirlwind will change your life in amazing ways but he will also be a bit of a project.” “Roo is an energetic boy who wants to join you on all your adventures and would make a great hiking companion.”

Roo is seeking a more sedate, adult-only home with one to three people and no pets allowed.

Janice and Mick

Age: roughly seven years.

Sex: both male and female

Rabbit breed

You can look at Mick and Janice’s profile here if you want to adopt them.

It is said that Mick and Janice are a “sweet pair of lovebirds.”

They are seeking a place where they can exhibit their natural behaviors, such as digging and foraging, and can be kept both indoors and outdoors.

“Mick and Janice are a sweet couple who are frequently spotted cuddling on their run shelf throughout the day.” “Their favorite time of day is breakfast and dinnertime where they enjoy finding their food in various puzzle feeders and snuffle mats,” stated RSPCA Solent.

The two can coexist with kids in elementary school and other pets as well.

Pixie

Age: Not known

Sex: female

Ringneck Parakeet breed

You can see Pixie’s profile here if you’re interested in adopting her now.

A male ringneck parakeet and a sizable outdoor aviary are what Pixie, an inquisitive parakeet, is seeking for herself.

As long as they are kept apart, she can coexist with kids of all ages and other pets safely.

“Pixie is a curious and inquisitive Parakeet, who can take a bit of time to adjust to her new surroundings, but once she finds her feet, she takes any opportunity to stretch her wings or to enjoy a nibble at some veg in her enrichment feeders!” stated RSPCA Solent.
