For years, Cowboy had suffered from severe neglect. When rescuers found him, his body was covered in fleas, dirt, and extremely heavy mats of fur. The condition of his coat was so severe that it affected his ability to walk properly, often causing him to lose balance and fall.
He was immediately taken to the vet, where the staff stayed late to ensure he received the care and comfort he desperately needed. Despite everything he had endured, Cowboy remained gentle and hopeful, even kneading his blanket while being treated.

As Cowboy adjusted to his new life, he met another cat named Bo Peep. She had arrived at the shelter with her kittens and, although she was a caring mother, she was extremely shy and fearful around people.
Even after her kittens found homes, Peep continued to struggle with socialization. The caregivers decided to introduce her to more confident cats, hoping it would help her come out of her shell.
